I’m Back

Nothing beats a near-death experience for revitalizing the human spirit.
The knowledge that is life is relatively short and absolutely unpredictable
is humbling and insightful.

I’m returning from a week in the hospital with a serious intestinal infection…
diverticulitis to be exact. It is eye-opening to NOT EAT or DRINK for 5 days
(not even water) and to be hooked up to an IV machine 24 hours a day.

It Really Sucks!

Getting prodded and poked and stuck with needles, blood pressure readings and
thermometer readings taken every few hours all day everyday and night…
It puts one’s life in a new, refreshing perspective.

It has given me an appreciation for the really important things life
has to offer… Family, Friends, Loved ones, Health.

All the money in the world isn’t worth losing your health over.
