Michael Jackson - Innocent
Like many other Michael Jackson fans, I was appalled years ago
when allegations were made that Michael was a child molester.
When Michel settled the litigation for a reported $20 million dollars,
We all thought he surely must be hiding something.
Why would you pay $20 million dollars if you were innocent?
When the 2nd child molestation suit was brought about,
that proved he’s hiding something. He must be up to no good.
In our minds, Michael Jackson was a child molester of little boys.
As the trial was taking place, suddenly many Jackson ex-staffers
started speaking up about “things” they saw.
Obviously, Michael Jackson was a pedophile, an adult who molested young boys.
The FBI swooped in and raided his Neverland Ranch tearing through
all his personal and private belongings. Michael was in the headlines,
on the front pages of the tabloids, in all the major newspapers and
magazines on all the TV stations all the time.
He was stripped of his pants as the cops took pictures of his penis.
And stripped of his dignity and self respect… Forever.
People never looked at Michael the same way anymore.
Michael Jackson was guilty until proven innocent.
Even after Michael was acquitted and found not guilty of the charges,
… Nothing Changed.
Michael’s reputation was ruined for life. He did not get the same kind of press
proclaiming his innocence, showcasing all the charity work he has done
and all the good deeds he did for so many sick children.
I, as did many others, still felt he was guilty of the charges.
Like O.J. Simpson, Michael had “the juice” to hire some high-powered lawyers
and found a way to circumvent the judicial system and beat the rap.
Although Michael Jackson was found not guilty of the child molestation charges,
in the eyes of the world Michael Jackson was still guilty. He was still a pedophile.
It wasn’t until Michael Jackson’s untimely death, that the thought first entered
my mind… “What if Michael Jackson was really innocent?”
That would mean that all the negative publicity, all the shame,
all the stares and jeers and criticisms from peoples all over the world,
everywhere he went, was unjust and wrong.
To go from becoming the “King of Pop” to becoming the “King of Pedophilia”
must have been mentally, emotionally even spiritually crippling.
Imagine what it would be like if YOU were sentenced to “Life Imprisonment”
in the worst prison facility for a crime you didn’t commit, something you didn’t do.
What would that do to you mentally?
What if Michael Jackson was really innocent?
We persecuted Michael more than Jesus Christ himself.
He was reviled by many worse than Hitler.
Then, top that off with a $500,000,000.00 debt load.
It’s no wonder Michael couldn’t sleep and was taking drugs.
If Michael Jackson was really innocent, that means… We are ALL guilty.
Michael Jackson sang and danced his way into the hearts of the entire world.
Michael’s message of peace and love brought joy to the world.
